Membership & SubscribingI want to sign up for a subscription! Are there any extra fees? No. I just signed up! What should I do next? Email confirmation from GBA. How can I customize my boxes? Gift boxes are based on designer soap collections. They vary with the season. If I change my mind, can I cancel? Yes, if order changed prior to shipping of first box. Can I shop with BlackBox even if I don’t subscribe? Yes, go to the "Products" tab and select BlackBox. Choose a single bar, diptych, gift box, or BlackBox sets, based on your choice. Is BlackBox available outside the US? No. GBA is only shipped within the USA.
BlackBox Points ProgramI’ve heard good things about your Points Program. Tell me more!What is the Birchbox Aces Program, and how do I get in? Every order earns "Frequent Flyer" points. The points vary based on the size of the order.
Billing & PaymentWhen can I expect to be billed for my subscription? Payment is due at the time of order. What forms of payment can I use? GBA accepts all major credit cards. I’m ready to place an order. Simply go to the products tab and select BlackBox Subscriptions. Choose the type of subscription with payment options at checkout. Be sure to include the name and address of the recipient. When will I be charged? At checkout.
PromotionsWhat is your promotion code policy? Currently we are defining promotion codes for repeat customers.
ShippingWhere does BlackBox ship? It will ship to the name and address provided in the "text" box area on the order tab. Do I have to sign for my BlackBox delivery? No. What are my shipping options? Currently GBA uses USPS for shipping. Boxes are small enough to fit in a standard size mailbox. I just placed an order! When will it ship? Yearly subscriptions are shipped January, April, August, and December. Single orders are shipped within 5 business days, unless out of stock item. Note, if item is out of stock and you still want the product. GBA will custom make your order. Custom orders typically range between a 3-6 week delivery date.
Return PolicyI’m having second thoughts. Can I return my order? Yes, if your first order has not been shipped on the subscription boxes. Can I return my BlackBox? Yes, only if the product has been damaged. Replacements may contain different GBA products as the subscription boxes are limited editions.
GiftsI want to send BlackBox as a gift. What’s the best way to do that? Order online from the BlackBox Subscription tab. Be sure to enter the name and address of the recipient. How do gift subscriptions work? Let GBA handle your subscription. If you have questions feel free to email us at any time.How far in advance can I order a gift subscription? For BlackBox yearly subscriptions orders are placed October-December with first shipment in January. Single gift sets may be ordered at any time and shipped at any time.

I want to sign up for a subscription! Are there any extra fees?
Nope! Your BlackBox subscription won’t have any shipping or handling fees—just the $250.00 for yearly Premium Limited Ed. Series or $200.00 for Basic BlackBox subscription. I just signed up! What should I do next? GBA will send you a gift subscription rewards card to the recipient along with instructions and contact information.
Be sure to fill out your Profile so we can learn more about you and what you’re looking to discover. Your Order Confirmation will have an estimated ship date so you’ll know to keep an eye out for your first box. While you wait, check out our Shop, which is stocked with our products so you’ll have an idea of what’s in store!
How can I customize my boxes?
Your monthly boxes will be tailored to the preferences of GBA limited edition soap. If I change my mind, can I cancel? Only the original purchaser can cancel the order. All cancellations for BlackBox subscriptions must be done before the shipment of the first box.
Single orders may be placed at any time. Yearly Rebillable Subscriptions can only be canceled within the first month, but subscribers must renew their order to continue the following year.

Can I shop with BiackBox even if I don’t subscribe?
Please do! Our Shop is constantly updated with new products, including exclusive brands, Limited Edition boxes, and so much more. You’ll earn BlackBox Points every time you shop with us, too!
Is Biackbox available outside the US?
No! BlackBox is currently unavailable outside the USA.
Billing & Payment
When can I expect to be billed for my subscription?
If you subscribe on a yearly basis, you’ll pay for the entire year in one cycle.
When you subscribe on a yearly basis, you’ll pay for your full subscription up-front and won’t see any monthly charges. Once your year is almost up, we’ll check in and see if you’d like to opt out of auto-renewal.
What forms of payment can I use?
We accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover or American Express credit cards, or debit cards as payment for rebillable subscription orders. Unfortunately, we’re not able to accept checks, money orders, gift cards, or routing numbers.
I’m ready to place an order. When will I be charged?
You’ll be billed as soon as your order is placed. From there, we’ll be in touch with tracking information as soon as your products are on the way!
What is your promotion code policy?
One promotional code can be applied to each order.
Where does BlackBox ship?
BlackBox subscriptions currently ship to United States.
Sadly, we are unable to ship subscriptions to APO, FPO and DPO addresses, however we are able to ship full-size products orders to these types of addresses.
Shop orders containing Hazardous Materials can only be shipped to addresses within the Continental US and cannot be shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, or APO/FPO/DPO addresses.

Do I have to sign for my BlackBox delivery?
Subscription boxes are ground-shipped via our shipping partner before they’re handed off to USPS for final delivery. This means you’ll receive your BlackBox in your mailbox each month.
Shop orders are delivered by USPS or UPS.
What are my shipping options?
You’re able to choose from four shipping speeds when you place an order:
- Standard Shipping - $5.00 (5-10 Business Days)
- UPS Ground - $7.00 (1-5 Business Days)
- UPS 2nd Day Air - $15.00 (2 Business Days)
- UPS Next Day Air - $22.00 (Next Business Day)
PS: Orders ship free when they include a product from a brand we sampled in the current month, or if your total is $50 or more! Get the details here.
Please note, expedited shipping is only available for the contiguous United States or P.O. Box, and addresses. Orders containing (but not limited to) nail polish, perfume, and aerosols must ship ground. Addresses to which standard shipping is the fastest option are ineligible for expedited shipping.
Shipping methods for monthly boxes and gift subscriptions cannot be modified.
I just placed an order! When will it ship?
Shop orders will ship within 3-5 business days of being placed for all in-stock items. Subscriptions will ship within 10 business days. We’ll email your tracking info over as soon as we have it!
Will my BlackBox fit in my mailbox?
Yes! BlackBox boxes measure 8" x 5.5" x 2.5". Full-size shipments will vary in size.
I’m having second thoughts. Can I return my order?
The short answer: yes! You’ll have 30 days to return products you order, due to product damage only.
Can I return my BlackBoxes?
BlackBoxes are nonrefundable and are ineligible for returns.
I want to send BlackBox as a gift. What’s the best way to do that?
We offer Gift Subscriptions for this very purpose! You can send single or 12 month (quarterly) BlackBox Gift Subscriptions.
How do gift subscriptions work?
Your recipient’s first box will be an introduction to BlackBox, packed with our tried-and-true premium soap. From there, they’ll take the lead and customize the rest! If they love it (we’re sure they will!), you can extend their gift— or they can purchase their own subscription— to keep the boxes coming.
How far in advance can I order a gift subscription?
Gift subscription orders can be placed up to three months in advance.
